Acknowledge that some of the goals may not have been fully met. That’s ok.

Put those into the column of gaps to work on for next year.

Then move into affirming the successes, the gains, the positives, whether in actual progress forward or in what’s been learned to help support another day.

Focus more on the Gains than the Gaps. as you close your view of the year passed and look forward to the new.
